Monterey County Workforce Development Board invites employers to join upcoming 2021 virtual job fairs!

Are you an employer who is currently hiring? The Monterey County Workforce Development Board can help! The Monterey County Workforce Development Board (MCWDB) has a new virtual recruitment platform, Premier Virtual, that is available for Monterey County employers to utilize at no charge.     


We are pleased to offer our local employers the opportunity to reach out to job seekers through this new online platform,” said MCDWB Business Services Manager, Jerry Hernandez.  “The Premier Virtual platform is the easiest way to host virtual career fairs and online hiring events. We provide employers with training in advance of all events and are here to walk them through the process, step by step. It’s free, convenient, easy, and safe.”


Employers have the chance communicate with job seekers, in real time, over the internet in an online booth that they have set up in advance,” Jerry added. “The Premier Virtual platform also allows employers the opportunity to review resumes and initiate video chats with candidates that they are interested in hiring.”


The MCWDB holds virtual hiring events monthly. The following is the schedule through the end of 2021:

Wednesday, July 21, 10am-1pm, General Job Fair (not industry-specific, open to all types of employers)

Wednesday, August 18, 10am-1pm, General Job Fair

Wednesday, September 15, 10am-1pm, General Job Fair

Wednesday, October 20, 10am-1pm, Retail Industry Recruitment

Wednesday, November 17, 10am-1pm, General Job Fair
