Looking to invest in your employees, strengthen your workforce, and offset the cost of training? California’s Employment Training Panel (ETP) provides funding to support employer-driven workforce training that helps businesses remain competitive while building the skills of their employees.

Join the Monarch Small Business Development Center (SBDC) for an informative workshop designed to help business owners and employers better understand the ETP program, available funding opportunities, and what it takes to develop a successful application.

The workshop will be led by SBDC Business Advisor Lourdes Uranday, MBA, HRM, who brings extensive experience navigating the ETP grant process and successfully securing funding. Most recently, Lourdes assisted the Soledad Chamber of Commerce in securing a $400,000 ETP grant from the State of California to support workforce training.

Participants will learn how ETP funding works, what businesses and training activities may qualify, key application requirements, and practical strategies for preparing a competitive proposal.

Whether you are looking to upskill your current employees, expand your workforce, or develop new training opportunities, this workshop will help you determine whether ETP funding could be a resource for your business.
