After a big year, it is time to get ready for BIG WEEK. The California Rodeo Salinas is excited to be re-opening their grounds in September 23rd through September 26th for a week of fun!
In order to kick-off the festivities, the Salinas Chamber in partnership with the Monterey Chamber, will be holding a joint mixer at the Monterey Airport.
Dust off your boots, throw on your cowboy hats, and join us for a fun evening in celebration of one of Salinas' most loved events.
Admission will cost $10 at the door for members and $20 for nonmembers.
COVID-19 Procedures:
In line with our continuing commitment of health and safety for each our members, staff, and community, the following COVID-19 protocols are taking effect Tuesday, August 31, 2021 for the California Rodeo Joint Mixer at the Monterey Regional Airport
Proof of full vaccination or a pre-entry negative COVID-19 test 72 hours prior to the event required for all guests. Monterey Peninsula Chamber Ambassadors will be present to verify upon welcoming guests to the event.
· The following are acceptable as proof of full vaccination: Physical COVID-19 vaccination record card OR photocopy of vaccine card OR a photo of vaccine card on a phone or any other electronic device.
· People are considered fully vaccinated 2 weeks after their second dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccines, or 2 weeks after the single-dose Johnson & Johnson's Janssen COVID-19 vaccine.
· The following are acceptable as proof of a negative COVID-19 test result: Printed document (from the test provider or laboratory) OR an email or text message displayed on a phone from the test provider or laboratory. Testing must be conducted within 72 hours before event start time (both PCR and antigen are acceptable).
