The Community Foundation for Monterey County's Center for Nonprofit Excellence (CNE) invites you to learn about the 2027 LEAD Institute. We are so pleased to invite applications for our 16th cohort of inspiring nonprofit leaders doing vital work on the Central Coast.

LEAD Institute is a year-long leadership development program that empowers you to discover your leadership values, find a network of professional support, and confidently lead a thriving team. See full program details.

Applications for LEAD Institute are due October 1, 2026. LEAD Institute 2027 will launch in February of next year. 

Intended audience: 

› Rising leaders from nonprofits or community-based organizations serving Monterey, Santa Cruz, and San Benito Counties
› New nonprofit executives
› Leaders interested in applying or referring a team member to LEAD Institute
