Monterey Citizens for Energy Independence (MCCEI), a project of Californians for Energy Independence, is a coalition committed to supporting in-state oil and natural gas production that provides Californians with a safe, affordable and reliable energy supply produced in a manner that safeguards people and the environment. We believe in the importance of providing our diverse workforce with good paying careers so that working families can afford housing, health care, education and a middle-class lifestyle in California.
