TWC 11 was established during the Covid-19 Pandemic and while many things were uncertain, enjoying a great Scotch or Bourbon has stood the test of time. It is the intention of the founders that TWC 11 will grow in numerous ways, with the goal to always provide a sophisticated experience focused on whiskies for novices and connoisseurs alike. Mitchel Sawhey, founder of TWC 11, has been a connoisseur and collector of Scotch whisky for decades. He is known to have one of the world’s largest collections of 40 year old expressions of one or his favorite Distilleries in Scotland. The Shawney’s are hopeful Mitchel’s enthusiasm for whiskies, unique tasting room and bottle shop on Alvarado Street, and varied selections at TWC lead to other fun endeavors and experiences for movies and aficionados of whiskies on the Monterey Peninsula and beyond!
