“The Third Jewel of the Triple Crown”: Nearly every major American champion in racing history has competed on the Belmont race track in Elmont, New York. The distance is 1 ½ miles long or 12 furlongs. This will be the 155th run. There will also be local live racing and betting. This special event race day includes Turf Club admission, Daily Racing Program, Champagne Welcome, all-day coffee station, a non-alcoholic beverage of your choice, and a 3-hour all-you-can-eat multi-stationed buffett.
