Please join the Salinas Valley Chamber, in partnership with our wonderful members, Downtown Streets Team & Blue Zones Project Monterey County, to tackle the litter in Oldtown Salinas. Litter is harmful to the environment, unappealing to locals and visitors, and can be dangerous. Let's come together as a community to pick up trash! We look forward to seeing you on Friday, April 9th, there are two shifts to choose from, check the links below. We will meet at the Blue Zones Project MC office to gather equipment (garbage bags, gloves, litter grabbers, masks are provided) and end at the Salinas Chamber office parking lot for snacks and to drop off equipment. All volunteers will be required to follow the latest COVID-19 preventative measures recommended by the County of Monterey Health Department.
