Monterey County Works and the California Department of Rehabilitation, in collaboration with the Northridge Mall in Salinas, is proud to present the 2nd Annual Community Resource Fair, taking place on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Northridge Mall, 796 Northridge Drive in Salinas.

This free community event brings together inclusive employers, training providers, and local organizations to support individuals with disabilities, job seekers, and families in accessing resources, employment, and career opportunities.  “"This event is about creating opportunities, building connections, and ensuring that everyone in our community has access to resources and pathways to meaningful employment," said Keith Chua, DOR Business Specialist.

“Jobseekers can expect to meet inclusive employers who are hiring now.  They can connect with community resources and support services, learn about training and vocational opportunities, and receive job search, interviewing and accommodation tips,” said Chua.

Individuals with disabilities who are seeking employment are also encouraged to attend.  Jobseekers will have the opportunity to engage with training and career pathway associates at the event, as well as families and caregivers looking for community support.

Event highlights include on the spot interviews with participating employers, workshops and resume help from career specialists and resource tables featuring over 100 local organizations and programs. “With over 100 vendors and employers, there will be valuable opportunities for networking and support,” said Chua.

The event is free and open to the public.  Jobseekers are encouraged to bring copies of their resumes.
