Hospice Giving Foundation Offers Free Community Workshops and Online Resources

Monterey, Calif. (April 15, 2024) —Hospice Giving Foundation is joining other national, state, and community organizations in a massive effort to highlight the importance of advance healthcare decision-making—an effort that has culminated in the formal designation of April 16 as National Healthcare Decisions Day (NHDD).

Hospice Giving Foundation provides workshops, information, and online resources in English and Spanish. These resources help the public discuss end-of-life wishes with loved ones and healthcare providers, helping them complete advance healthcare directives in accordance with California state laws.

In April and May, Hospice Giving Foundation is offering free workshops to the public about advance care planning which includes conversations with local healthcare professionals. You can find out more about these workshops by visiting hospicegiving.org/workshops to learn more.

As a result of National Healthcare Decisions Day, we hope many more people in our community will have meaningful conversations about their healthcare decisions and complete reliable advance healthcare directives to make their wishes known.
