First Tee – Monterey County Names Paulina Valdez as Marketing Manager to Advance Youth Development Mission

SALINAS, Calif. (May 5, 2026) — First Tee – Monterey County has appointed Paulina Valdez as Marketing Manager, strengthening the organization’s commitment to expanding its reach and deepening community understanding of its youth development mission.
Valdez brings more than a decade of global experience in brand strategy, creative direction, and marketing execution, with a career rooted in connecting organizations to their audiences through meaningful storytelling and high-impact campaigns.
In her new role, Valdez will lead day-to-day marketing efforts across digital, print, and community platforms, ensuring that First Tee – Monterey County’s programs and the life-changing opportunities they provide are clearly communicated to families, donors, and community partners.
First Tee – Monterey County serves young people throughout the region by integrating the game of golf with a curriculum that builds character, confidence, and resilience. The organization’s programs focus on helping participants develop essential life skills, including integrity, perseverance, and respect, both on and off the course.

Valdez’s experience spans the United States, Mexico, and Europe, where she has led creative direction, developed brand identities, and produced marketing campaigns for a range of organizations and industries. She is known for her collaborative approach, attention to detail, and ability to bring clarity and consistency to brand messaging.
As Marketing Manager, she will play a key role in supporting First Tee – Monterey County’s growth by increasing visibility, strengthening donor engagement, and ensuring that the stories of participants, families, and community impact are at the forefront of the organization’s communications.
Valdez studied Art and Technology at Monterey Peninsula College and holds a bachelor’s degree with honors from Universidad Anáhuac in Querétaro, Mexico.
