Hartnell College to Host Job Fair to Recruit Faculty
Salinas, CA – Hartnell College is excited to announce the opening of 12 full-time faculty positions to meet the increasing demand for classes and better serve the needs of students and the community. Adding these new faculty members will help expand the college’s ability to serve more students, reduce class waitlists, and shorten completion times for students working toward their academic goals.
To connect with potential candidates, Hartnell College is hosting a Faculty Job Fair on Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Hartnell College Main Campus - Steinbeck Hall. Attendees can speak directly with department deans and learn more about available positions, ask questions and gain insights into the work environment, expectations, and growth opportunities at Hartnell College.
"We are dedicated to providing our students with a high-quality education. To achieve this, we must cultivate a strong and diverse faculty that upholds Hartnell College's mission and meets the increasing demand for courses,” said Ram Subramanian, Vice President of Student Success & Teaching Excellence. “Adding 12 full-time faculty positions will help eliminate waitlists, minimize delays in class offerings, and expand access to essential courses. This ensures students can stay on track with their academic plans, complete their degrees more efficiently, and advance their careers without barriers.”
