After nearly 90 years as the heartbeat of our community, our beloved Fairgrounds has remained largely unchanged. Major revitalization is needed to retain the facility’s role as both a gathering place and a vital emergency staging area and shelter.

Toward that end, we have launched a capital drive called Where Your Heart Has a Home. It seeks to raise $1 million to complete modernization and renovation of aging barns and public restrooms.
