Interim, Inc. to Host Open House with Guided Tours in Soledad on Feb. 28, 2024
Soledad, CA. (February 22, 2024) — Interim, Inc. is hosting an open house to acquaint the Soledad community with its new location and services available in Soledad. The agency invites the community to meet their friendly staff. Interim, Inc. is the largest provider of housing and support services serving adults living with serious mental illness in Monterey County. Historically, Interim’s staff have been based on the Monterey Peninsula and Salinas area. Staff had to travel to South County to provide services and clients in South County would have to travel to the Peninsula to receive them. With the new office space, staff from three of Interim’s programs will be permanently placed in their new Soledad office: the Keep It Real program, MCHOME and ACT program. Other programs will be able to use the office space to better serve South County residents as needed.
The MCHOME program is a homeless outreach program that serves adults living with mental illness.
The Keep It Real program offers community-based harm reduction support services for individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders who are in recovery.
The Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program assists and provides services to adults with serious and persistent mental illness in the community where they live. ACT serves individuals who are not easily engaged in services, and who have used in-patient mental health services, but are not engaged in on-going treatment in the community.

12:00 p.m.-12:15 p.m.– 4th guided tour in Spanish
