🌱 Invest in the Future of Organic Farming and Stronger Communities 🌱

At the Agriculture and Land-Based Training Association (ALBA), our mission is to create economic opportunity by training the next generation of organic farmers.

Since 2001, ALBA has transformed the lives of hundreds of aspiring farmers by providing education, affordable access to land, equipment, and technical assistance. Our 1-year Farmer Education Course (PEPA) and the 4-year Organic Farm Incubator program equip participants with the practical skills and business tools needed to launch their own organic farms or obtain better employment in the local agricultural industry.

Every ALBA graduate represents a future rooted in dignity, sustainability, and economic independence. Through organic farming practices such as crop rotation, composting, and cover cropping, our farmers not only grow healthy food but also contribute to healthier soils and stronger ecosystems.

This May, as we recognize National Strawberry Month and National Salad Month, we celebrate the work and dedication of ALBA farmers who bring fresh, organic produce to our communities. Every strawberry picked and every head of lettuce harvested tells a story of perseverance, stewardship, and hope.

We are laying the groundwork for ALBA's future.

As we prepare for an upcoming capital campaign, your early investment will help ensure that ALBA can support aspiring farmers, enhance training resources, and preserve access to land in the Salinas Valley for generations to come.

Now is the time to act.

Your support strengthens our farmers, our food system, and our future.
