November is the 11th and penultimate month of the year in the Julian and Gregorian calendars. It’s best known for Thanksgiving, Veterans Day, and the start of the holiday shopping season.  “It’s also a great month to refocus on your goals and explore new employment opportunities.” said Executive Director, Christoper Donnelly.  “Monterey County Works is striving to make our events available to employers and jobseekers throughout the area this year and is inviting both to register  below.”

• Wednesday, November 4, 2026, Multiple Employer Job Fair, King City Library, 425 Broadway, King City, 1pm-4pm.  (Space is limited to 9 tables for employers altogether.  Register today to save your spot.)
• Wednesday, November 18, 2026, Healthcare Recruitment, Salinas Career Center, 344 Salinas Street, Salinas, 1:30pm-3:30pm.

Monterey County Works is incentivizing local employers who are hiring to register early…to take advantage of promotional availability for their business. “Employers who register in advance, for our November 4 event no later than October 30 at 5pm, will have the opportunity to have their business and positions featured on our popular website landing page ahead of the event.” said Donnelly.  “Space is filling up quickly.  Register today!” he said.

Job seekers are encouraged to bring multiple copies of their résumé, dress professionally, and be prepared to speak with employers who are hiring now.
