A Celebration with Heart: Car Week’s Grand Finale Honors Community Impact


MONTEREY, Calif. (May 22, 2025) — The Monterey Motorsports Festival (MMF) isn’t just the last major event of Car Week—it’s a celebration with purpose. Returning on Saturday, August 16, 2025, MMF offers an electrifying evening that merges the best in car culture with heartfelt community engagement.

From its inception, MMF has proudly partnered with the Monterey County Fair Heritage Foundation and the Law Enforcement Torch Run to benefit Northern California Special Olympics—two anchor nonprofits whose work fuels the event’s mission.

The night kicks off at 5:15 p.m. with a moving and unifying Special Olympics Torch Run, led by local law enforcement and Special Olympics athletes. It’s a defining moment that captures what MMF is all about: passion with purpose.

Throughout the event, guests will have the opportunity to connect with these organizations at onsite booths and activations—learning how each nonprofit is driving change throughout Monterey County.

“MMF is a celebration with heart,” said Paolo Manca, founder of the Monterey Motorsports Festival. “Our nonprofit partners are the soul of this event. They’re the reason we come together—not just to admire cars, but to support the greater good in our community.”

About MMF 2025

Taking place Saturday, August 16 from 5–11 p.m., the Monterey Motorsports Festival closes out Car Week with an immersive experience featuring curated car displays, a Supercar Drive-In, gourmet food and drink, and two stages of live music. Entertainment includes Latin Jazz Collective, Sensory Tribe, The Outlaw Mariachi, DSB: A Tribute to Journey, and a soon-to-be-announced headliner.
