MONTEREY, Calif. (July 27, 2025) — The Monterey Motorsports Festival roars back into town on Saturday, August 16, promising a high-octane evening of entertainment, family-friendly activities, and automotive spectacle at the Monterey County Fair & Event Center from 5 to 11 p.m.

New this year is the exclusive local appearance of the Grand Prix Coaster, a traveling steel roller coaster provided by Helm & Sons Amusements. Available Saturday night only, this high-thrill ride will operate in the carnival lot from 5 to 11 p.m. and is free to all MMF ticket holders.

From exotic cars and JDM to muscle cars, overlanding rigs and lowriders, the festival continues its tradition of celebrating automotive innovation and culture with activities for all ages. Headliner DJ Dillon Francis will close the night with a high-energy performance, following a dynamic lineup that includes DSB (Journey tribute band), Outlaw Mariachi, and Latin Jazz Collective.

- Global unveilings from Davinci Motorcycle and Peralta S

- Mad Mike and MADMAC P1 exhibition

- Guest appearance by Valentino Balboni, former Lamborghini test driver

- Race Service’s James Kirkham with the iconic Unimog

- Live workshops, simulators, and keynote speakers

- Family Fun Zone, interactive activities, and games

- An elegant MMF Concours display on The Greens

- VIP “Vino & Vibes” tent with gourmet fare and regional wine tastings

The festival proudly supports local nonprofits, with proceeds benefiting organizations including Meals on Wheels of the Monterey Peninsula, Alliance on Aging, BirchBark Foundation, Monterey Fire Fighters Foundation, First Tee Monterey County, and the Special Olympics Torch Run, which kicks off the event at 5:17 p.m.
