Providing the tools to help tomorrow’s leaders succeed

Press Releases

Since 2004, Student Leaders® has been part of Bank of America's ongoing commitment to youth employment and economic mobility. BofA is helping prepare a diverse pipeline of community-minded young students to be successful in the workforce through leadership training and work experience.

By driving responsible growth, BofA delivers for clients and addresses pressing societal issues, including advancing employment opportunities for youth and young adults. Through the Student Leaders® program, Bank of America annually connects more than 300 community-minded high school juniors and seniors from over 100 communities to employment, skills development, and service.

The students hail from many diverse backgrounds but are united by their drive and commitment. Through paid internships with local nonprofits and participation in a national leadership summit, they gain practical work and life experience.

Juniors and Seniors in high schools with a passion for improving the community, should see where the Student Leaders program operates and learn more about our eligibility criteria.

Applications for the 2024 program are now being accepted through January 17th, 2024. Students who have submitted applications will be notified of their application status in spring 2024.
