SALINAS, Calif. (April 16, 2026) — Coastal Kids Home Care has opened vehicle registration, sponsorships and volunteer opportunities for the 12th Annual Touch-A-Truck Salinas, taking place Sunday, September 13, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Salinas Rodeo Grounds.

A signature community fundraiser, the event draws more than 1,000 attendees each year and features over 50 vehicles—including fire engines, big rigs, construction equipment and emergency response units—available for hands-on exploration.

The afternoon also includes food trucks, live entertainment games, and interactive activities such as CPR demonstrations and build-your-own toy stations.

Proceeds benefit Coastal Kids Home Care, the region’s only provider of comprehensive in-home medical care, therapy and support services for children with serious illness and injury.

“Touch-A-Truck brings the community together in a meaningful way to support local children and families,” said Board President, Grace Feldeisen.  “Every participant helps make a difference.”

Tickets are $10 per person, with children under 2 admitted free. Tickets go on sale in June 2026.
