Salinas City Barbeque Donates Over $3,000 From Its 2023 Rounded-Up Bill Proceeds to Independent Nonprofit Partnership for Children.
SALINAS, CA. (January 16, 2024) — Salinas City Barbeque has proudly donated $3,116.70 from its 2023 Round Up campaign to the independent nonprofit Partnership for Children (PFC), a devoted organization that offers transportation and various support services to families with children facing life-threatening conditions.
"In 2023, an incredible 1,558 guests chose to Round Up their online order, contributing a total of $1,558.35 in donations to Partnership for Children,” said Christine Arieno of Salinas City Barbeque. “We've reached a total of $3,116.70 in donations."
Last year, Salinas City Barbeque invited its customers to round up their bill for online orders to support this vital Salinas-based nonprofit, and the community response was overwhelmingly positive.

“While monetary donations are crucial, raising awareness about Partnership for Children's mission and goals in our community is equally important,” Arieno added. “We are honored to contribute to the significant work done by PFC for our local youth and their families and look forward to potentially partnering again.”
In 2023, Partnership for Children continued its dedicated services, supporting 216 children and their families. The organization provided transportation for over 3,395 medical appointments, more than $63,000 in financial assistance for essential needs, over 800 monthly grocery deliveries, 942 monthly supplies of diapers and wipes, 15 car seats, 278 back-to-school backpacks filled with supplies, and holiday gifts for 486 children through its Miles of Smiles program.
