In Commemoration of Hispanic Heritage Month Senator Anna Caballero to join the Latino Coalition of San Benito County Latino Advocacy Days in Washington DC
Sacramento- Senator Anna M. Caballero (D-Merced) announced today that she will join the Latino Coalition of San Benito County and affiliate leaders from across the country, in Washington DC to advocate for issues relevant to the Latino community. Founded in 1988, the coalition actively works to promote equality and justice locally and nationwide.
The Latino Advocacy Days in Washington DC will take place October 4-6 and include a briefing at the White House, a luncheon at the Dirksen Senate building and visits to federal representatives. The local delegation includes Mickie Luna, President, Latino Coalition of San Benito County, Mary Vazquez Edge, Anitra Gomez, Carmen Montano, Mayor, City of Milpitas, Dr. Ahmad Rafii, JR de la Rosa, Michael Salinas, and Luis Chavez.
