
The College of Agriculture, Business and Industries at Hartnell College to Host First Annual Community Day Car Show on Sunday, June 8, 2025
SALINAS, Calif. (May 29, 2025) — The College of Agriculture, Business and Industries at Hartnell College is excited to announce its inaugural Community Day Car Show is taking place on Sunday, June 8, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Hartnell Alisal Campus, located at 1752 E. Alisal Street in Salinas.
This free, family-friendly event has already reached vehicle registration capacity, with more than 95 classic and custom cars, trucks, and motorcycles set to be showcased. In addition to the display of vehicles, attendees can enjoy live entertainment, raffle prizes, and food from a local taco truck.
Guests will also be able to tour the campus, meet instructors, and learn about academic and student support programs available through Hartnell College. The first 200 attendees will receive a free lunch ticket courtesy of the event organizers.
Programs featured at the event include career pathways in high-demand industries such as:
• Administration of Justice
• Automotive and Diesel Technology
• Agricultural Mechatronics
• Agriculture
• Business and Construction Management
• Welding
All proceeds from vehicle registration directly support student scholarships.
"The Community Day Car Show is not only a celebration of local automotive culture but also a chance for the community to connect with the programs that are equipping students with the skills needed for success in industries that drive our economy," said Celia Anderson, event coordinator. "It's a fun, family-friendly day with something for everyone, and we're excited to showcase the talent and enthusiasm of our local car community."
This event is presented in partnership with the Hartnell College Agricultural, Business, and Technology Institute and the Alisal Union School District.
