Veteran Services Center Honors Veterans with Special Week-Long Celebration

SALINAS, Calif. – SALINAS, Calif. – Hartnell College Veteran Services Center is proud to show its appreciation and honor veterans with a week-long celebration from November 6–11. The week will include various activities to recognize and celebrate veterans and military families around the Salinas area. Events include:

• Luncheons

• A Veterans Day celebration

• Film screening

• Participation in the annual Veterans Day parade in downtown Salinas

Gemma Uribe-Cruz, Hartnell College Veterans counselor, said, "We view this as an opportunity to not only highlight our special student population and our Veterans Services Center but also to showcase the unique programs and resources we offer." She continued, "We aim to continue to build stronger relationships with our veteran population on and off campus.”

All events are free to attend.
