Monterey, CA, February 18, 2025 – A unique and popular annual event featuring local cancer survivors as fashion models is gearing up for its 31st annual celebration, asking for community support in Winning the Race Against Cancer.

The 2025 Celebration of Life Fashion Show, hosted by the American Cancer Society, takes place April 11, 2025, at the Monterey Conference Center in Monterey. This year’s event, themed "Winning the Race Against Cancer", will celebrate the courage and strength of local cancer survivors while raising critical funds for cancer research and patient support. Guests are encouraged to embrace the theme by dressing in Kentucky Derby style attire.

The Celebration of Life Fashion Show is an inspiring fundraiser where local cancer survivors share their personal journeys of resilience and hope on the runway. The event pays tribute to those who have battled the disease, honors lives lost, and showcases the vital impact that donations have on the lives of cancer patients and their families. Models showcase the latest spring fashion from local clothing stores and boutiques.
